3 Things that Have Inspired Me

  1. Seeing another new year! I always feel more hopeful and inspired to do better when I have a fresh start.
  2. Being out in nature. I feel like any time I go for a walk or an adventure, I feel more inspired to explore again!
  3. Reading good books. Whenever I read a good book, I feel more inspired to write!

happiness secret

“In the story The Little Prince, the fox was wiser than he knew when he said, “Now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye” (Antoine de Saint-ExupĂ©ry, The Little Prince, trans. Katherine Woods [1943], 70). The odyssey to happiness lies in the dimension of the heart. Such a journey is made on stepping-stones of selflessness, wisdom, contentment, and faith. The enemies of progress and fulfillment are such things as self-doubt, a poor self-image, self-pity, bitterness, and despair. By substituting simple faith and humility for these enemies, we can move rapidly in our search for happiness.”

~James E. Faust, “Our Search for Happiness”

Happy 4th

Happy 4th of July! I don’t know what your traditions may be or if you even like fireworks or what foods you eat or if you even celebrate this holiday.

Many of my readers are from other countries. The 4th of July is a celebration of the independence of the United States of America. I like to reflect on the sacrifice others have made for this country and all the many blessings and opportunities and freedoms I have because I was born in the USA.

So wherever you are in the world, maybe take a moment to reflect on your blessings and give a little thanks in your heart. 🙂

Hope you have a beautiful & safe holiday!   ❤

2000 followers! 🙂 🙂 🙂 And in less than 6 months. I’m completely blown away. Like in total shock. Like. . . WHAT?!?!? (That totally sounds like a teenage girl. haha. . . But it’s true!)

This is definitely fireworks worthy!

Thank you so much. I never thought this would ever happen, never imagined anyone would care to read what I had to write, never had any idea that so many people would be interested in writing such thoughtful and incredible comments. Please continue to give me feedback. All of your encouragement is inspiring to me!

I look forward to meeting new followers and reading what you have to say, as well.

Thank you all for the support!!!    ❤
